Effect of 8 weeks of training with an elastic band on frequency spectrum of lower limb muscles in genu valgum patients during running

Background. Due to the special structure of knee joint in genu valgus individuals, neuromuscular characteristics muscles can be disturbed and this may change postural control. This study aimed investigate effect 8 weeks training with an elastic band on frequency spectrum lower limb valgum patients during running. Methods. was a clinical trial which 24 male students (20-30 years old) were randomly divided into control experimental groups. Corrective exercises performed for using group. The electrical activity selected recorded by electromyography system. Statistical analysis repeated measures ANOVA test at significant level 0.05. Results. Findings showed increase rectus femoris (P=0.026; d=1.669) after training. Conclusion. Quadriceps stability along balance movements. Therefore, increasing median improve balance. Practical Implications. results that bands are useful people Genu valgum, particular, use these leads improved performance.
